About Akialoa Wellness

Our street name was Akialoa Road when we first moved to Hawaii. Akialoa is a gorgeous bird. It’s a Hawaiian honeycreeper with a long, thin, decurved bill. Her body is 7 1/2 inches long; its upperpart has a bright-olive color and the underpart has a yellow color. Yet, we found out that Akialoa was officially announced to be extinct. The last time Akialoa was observed was 1969. It was Alakai Swamp near Kokee in Kauai.

We didn't hesitate when we decided our business name. Akialoa reminds us that we are a part of nature and protecting nature is our duty. Nature is our life source and we can discover our innate beauty, abundance and wellness through her.
